My Pepeha

We are doing something called Summer Learning Journey (They made me do it by force😢).
And one of the activities of the day was doing my Pepeha.

So what is means is:
Tararua is my maunga,
Otaki is my awa,

Tainui is my waka,
Ngati Raukawa is my iwi,
Kapumanawawhiti is my hapu &

Tainui is my marae.

It also say that:
Winterburn-Payton is my family &
Ramari is my name.
😊😊😊😊😊😊

  1. Kia Ora Ramari, this is Shannon from the Summer Learning Journey.

You’ve done an outstanding job on your Pepeha. I noticed you mentioned your awa is Otaki. Otaki is known for its white-baiting and fishing. My awa is Hokitika which is also known for its white-baiting. I’ve been a couple of times with my family. Have you ever been? I’ve also been fishing. I once even caught a stingray but I put it back in the end. Have you caught any fish?

Did you consider including an image of your maunga or awa to your Pepeha? Perhaps you could also make the image a little bigger so it is a bit easier for your readers to see.

    Hei konā mai,
    Shannon
