1. Because the group thinks Salva will just slow them down
2. It makes me feel really sad for Salva, because it would just be sad
that a group of men would just leave a 11 year old boy with nobody
to look after him.

3. Because for an 11 yr old boy, he's doing a really good job
on surviving and keeping up with his group.
